We have designed a touch application for installation in "Inspiro" sliding shelves in 48 Tikkurila Color Studios throughout Poland. The application presents the Tikkurila brand and its products in a multimedia and interactive way. The application is modern, intuitive to use, inspiring and presents the offer of the Tikkurila brand from the premium segment. Our main goal was to provide consumers with additional color inspiration, which is why we have made an application that allows users to choose arrangements that have been divided into 5 categories (living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, children's room), and then interactive wall painting with colors available in the Tikkurila brand offer. The application database includes 30 arrangements and 263 colors of Tikkurila paints and all of them are available to the user.
Summary
We built the application by dividing them into two parts:
- client application: installed directly in the Inspiro shelves at 48 points of sale throughout Poland. this application does not require any service from the store's staff. Everything starts automatically and the application is available to the store's customers all the time. We used AngularJS to make the application
- Drupal 7 content management system: invisible to employees or customers of points of sale. The CMS has been installed on the Tikkurila server and allows them to upload new arrangements, colors and content, and then generate an update file with one click, which they just need to upload to the client application to automatically update itself.
